Generation Chosen proudly presents Black Tech Matters, a community-driven program focused on equipping Black youth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with essential skills and knowledge for success in the tech industry. Designed to empower participants at every skill level, this program creates a space where innovation, collaboration, and Black excellence in technology thrive.

Operating from 5 PM to 8 PM, Black Tech Matters offers two dynamic streams:

Casual Drop-in Sessions
Our low-intensity stream is perfect for those interested in exploring technology in a relaxed environment. These sessions are designed for flexibility—participants can drop in as their schedule allows, engaging with hands-on activities, tutorials, and discussions on the latest tech trends.

Intensive Tech Program
For those looking to dive deeper, our intensive stream offers a more structured, immersive experience. This program requires registration and provides participants with focused mentorship, advanced technical training, and opportunities to develop real-world projects.
